THE BOOK IS ABOUT THIS FAMILY HAVING A SHOPPING WITH A CROCODILE.

• THE FIRST THING THAT I LIKE ABOUT THE BOOK IS WHEN THEY PUT THEIR MONEY IN THEIR OWN MONEY BOXES.
• THE SECOND THING THAT I LIKE ABOUT THE BOOK IS WHEN THE CROCODILE  TAKES HIS MONEY OUT AND BUYS HIM SOME FOOD.
• THE THIRD THING THAT I LIKE ABOUT THE BOOK IS WHEN THE OLD LADY SAID TO THE KIDS “ GET YOUR CROCODILE OFF MY FOOT.

MY FAVOURITE PART WAS WHEN THE CROCODILE STAND ON THE OLD LADY FOOT BECAUSE IT IS FUNNY WHEN THE OLD LADY SAID TO THEM TO GET THE LIZARD OFF HER FOOT.

THE ONLY THING THAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT THE BOOK IS WHEN THE CROCODILE BEGINS TO CRY BECAUSE HE LOOK SAD.

MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER IS ALL OF THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL FUNNY AND INTERESTING.

I think that the title of the book is about them finding some old stuff somewhere.

The story is about this boy name Joshua wanted to make a trolley. In their garage there were lot’s of junk stuff inside that her mother told him that he can take anything he wanted to. So Joshua and his dad went inside to the garage and find something to build the trolley.

Write about what you believe the Author was feeling/thinking while writing this text. (Make Inference with the evidence found within Text)

During the author wrote this incredible story she feels happy that the supermarket want them to sell their old prams so they can have a new one for the baby.

From your experience, how can you relate to the text and what are your thoughts about the text? (using prior knowledge to make sense of text)

How I can related to this story is by making them another prams or give a gifts to the baby.

Mei-lin's Wish

TITLE: Mei-lin’s Wish

The book was about this girl name Mei-Lin’s wish that she had some friends at her school, because all of her friends are at China.

WHAT 3 THINGS DID YOU LIKE ABOUT IT?

EXPLAIN WHY?

• The first thing that I like about the book is when  Mei and her nana was drinking tea and also when they were playing some games, because they were doing something fun.
• The third thing that I like about the book is when Mei went back to school, because Mei didn’t like to go to school because her friends went to China.
• The third thing that I like about the book is when her nana told her that the singing birds will come to her.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART AND WHY?

My favourite part was when lots of children want to be Mei friends because she feel lonely when all of her friends went to China.

WHAT 3 THINGS DIDN’T YOU LIKE ABOUT THE BOOK? EXPLAIN WHY?

• The first thing that I did not like about the story is when all of Mei friends went to China, because when they all went she doesn't have any friends so she didn’t want to go to school.
• The second thing that I did not like about the story is when Mei did not want to go to school, because all of her friends are gone.
• The third thing that I didn’t like about the book is when she didn’t like about when her friends went to China because she feels lonely and unhappy.

WHO WAS YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTER AND WHY?

My favourite character was all of them because they were fun and some other stuff that I like about them.

THE ONE THAT I AM GOING TO RECOMMEND THE BOOK TO IS MR SLADE BECAUSE HE IS MY TEACHER.

Narrative Writing

One day there was a little boy named Henry and he is 10 years old. Henry was new to St Patricks school. In his class there was only 3 girls and the rest were all boys. When Henry walked inside the classroom his heart was beating fast and he was really scared he had goosebumps all over him. Henry went and sat at his new desk and this fat boy whispered to Henry “I’m going to punch you after school”. Henry was very scared and wished that he was still at home. When it was morning tea henry was pushed by the fat boy as he was getting his lunch. Henry was scared so he didn’t say anything. After Henry finished his lunch he went to play. When the bell rang he ran back to line up. Their teacher came and told them to go inside and sit at their desks, everyone did as they were told, except for Henry. Henry was just reading his book as he waited for the teacher to tell him what to do. When the teacher came back and said that they were doing their writing. Henry worked very hard and finished his work before everyone. The  teacher said to him “good job Henry”. The Fat boy was jealous of Henry finishing fast and was angry.

When it was time for lunch time so they walked to get his lunch, this time the fat boy didn’t do anything because he was waiting for after school to punch Henry. After Henry had eaten his lunch he had to play by himself because he had no friends.

When it was home time everyone went back to the corridor to get their bags . When Henry went grabbed his bag the fat boy came to Henry and grabbed  by the shirt and punched Henry on the face. Henry pushed  him away, and ran home. When Henry got home he told his mum. Henry’s mum said that she is going to go and tell the principal and then Henry agreed with his mum. On the next day Henry went school, he saw the fat boy and ran up to him and punched him on the face. The fat boy had a black eye and never came back to St Patricks school again.

One day there was a man name Kevin and a women name Emma. Keven is 39 years old and Emma is 37 years old, Emma is working for Kevin and the job that she is doing is blowing the dry leaves away from the green grass. Emma is a little bit funny because when she talk she makes jokes and other funny things to make people laugh, Emma is really kind to people because when someone give her something then she is going to say “thank you”.

In a beautiful morning Emma woke up and went and have a shower and brush her teeth, after that she went and change her clothes. Emma is only the one who lives in the house because all of her family is at America, every morning she walk to the bus station because she doesn't have a car. When she is at work she always goes to Kevin and tell him that she is here, after that Kevin always tells her to go and start cleaning and that’s when Emma start cleaning. Emma always try her best to clean the grass because she is a little bit crazy, during cleaning their was an old man coming to her and ran with the air gun.

After that Emma chase the old man and got the air gun back, Emma came back and Kevin was standing where she was cleaning, when Emma came Kevin told her that if she do that again then she is going to be fired from work. Emma said to Kevin “sorry Kevin, and I won’t do it again”, after that Kevin went inside and Emma was keep on cleaning the grass. When it was afternoon Emma ran to Kevin and told him to blow her hair with the air gun and after that Kevin told her to stop being silly but Emma said “ I am not silly”, and after that Kevin blow her hair with the air gun and Emma was laughing and smiling and also Kevin. When Kevin finished blowing her hair he told Emma that he had lot’s of fun with her and after that Kevin told her that tomorrow she can do anything she want and also Kevin told her that tomorrow they are going and buy her a new car and a new house that is a lot more bigger than the old one. After that Kevin fell in love with Emma and after that they lived happily ever after.

Changing Teachers

Today we had a mass in the morning for Miss Leaupepe that is leaving today and the new priest. She is going to work at the National Library and she is starting on Monday. 

On Monday our new teacher is going to come and his name is Mr Slade. Mr Slade came on Tuesday and visit us and we asked him what is the things that he likes then he said that he likes art, rugby and also sports. After that we asked him how old is he then he said that he is 29 years old. Mr Slade is a wonderful teacher and he is very kind.

I am looking forward to work with Mr Slade and also I am looking forward to say Goodbye to Miss Leaupepe when she is leaving.
