The book was about this girl name Mei-Lin’s wish that she had some friends at her school, because all of her friends are at China.

WHAT 3 THINGS DID YOU LIKE ABOUT IT?

EXPLAIN WHY?

• The first thing that I like about the book is when  Mei and her nana was drinking tea and also when they were playing some games, because they were doing something fun.
• The third thing that I like about the book is when Mei went back to school, because Mei didn’t like to go to school because her friends went to China.
• The third thing that I like about the book is when her nana told her that the singing birds will come to her.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PART AND WHY?

My favourite part was when lots of children want to be Mei friends because she feel lonely when all of her friends went to China.

WHAT 3 THINGS DIDN’T YOU LIKE ABOUT THE BOOK? EXPLAIN WHY?

• The first thing that I did not like about the story is when all of Mei friends went to China, because when they all went she doesn't have any friends so she didn’t want to go to school.
• The second thing that I did not like about the story is when Mei did not want to go to school, because all of her friends are gone.
• The third thing that I didn’t like about the book is when she didn’t like about when her friends went to China because she feels lonely and unhappy.

WHO WAS YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTER AND WHY?

My favourite character was all of them because they were fun and some other stuff that I like about them.

WHO WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THE BOOK TO AND WHY?

THE ONE THAT I AM GOING TO RECOMMEND THE BOOK TO IS MR SLADE BECAUSE HE IS MY TEACHER.
