Journey To A Beach House

During the holidays two of my aunties and I went to a Beach House. One of my aunties is a nun and we were going to their Beach House at Whangapouri. It was a long journey but luckily we got there before noon.

First of all we packed our stuff and I only took a small amount of clothes because we’re only going for four days. Following on we got in the car and our journey began. It was my first time going to Whangapouri so I felt excited about it.

One thing that excited me the most was seeing the Harbour Bridge. It looked amazing because the colour of the sky was just incredible - purple, yellow, red, and grey. I wanted to take a picture of it with my tablet but it was low battery.

Later, we got into a motorway and it was the longest motorway that I’ve ever been on. During the journey we went past a lot of farms & supermarkets. Therefore we decided to stop at one of them and we bought water.

Afterwards we continued on our journey. Later on  I felt a bit dizzy so I fell asleep. Meanwhile
I felt the car stopped so I woke up. When I did I saw this beautiful house standing tall towards the beach. I got out of the car and ran to see how beautiful the beach was. However I could also see buildings on the other side of the beach and they looked amazing and brightly lit in the dark sky.

After a while we went inside and started choosing our rooms and organising everything to be ready. I felt so delighted when I first entered the house and I knew that we are going to have an amazing time.

Subsequently I requested to one of my aunt if she wanted to play some cards and she accepted. We both agreed to play last card and we did. She was very challenging because I found it difficult to beat her but I tried my best though.

From time to time we had a lot of entertainment and I was so glad that I went with them there. I hope that another holiday we could revisit that beautiful spot.
